The Vegetarian Society were looking to consolidate a number of their websites and apps to deliver an improved user experience, increase engagement and ultimately support revenue generation from memberships and donations.
Big Brand Ideas were asked to create a new platform with a strong focus on UX and to make recommendations for a customer focused approach that used content to engage their audiences meaningfully.
Using our intelligent approach to engagement, we developed an understanding of the roadmap and customer journeys for each site. As well as our digital insight gathering, we held stakeholder engagement sessions to enable us to plan a roadmap that would migrate the various sites to a single new platform.
Our content-first approach allowed us to focus on the visitors’ requirements and ensure enhanced usability across all devices. A design system was created to be flexible and future proof, allowing for a wide variety of content to be added to the site. The focus on the Vegetarian Society’s charity work also sought to increase memberships and donations

Following a successful migration, the new website and app, created an experience that put the user first. This approach enabled the Vegetarian Society to showcase high quality recipes, to educate and inform visitors and to generate additional revenue. The new site is simple to manage and update and provides flexibility to create new content types when required
