The challenge

Four years on from its launch, Mind Of My Own’s app was becoming tired. Feedback from users confirmed it lacked vibrancy and that functionality was long-winded, so a redesign was needed.

The approach

After considerable research we set the goal of simplifying the app to stop people losing interest during the sign-up process. Starting with wireframes, initial designs and illustrations, our team gave it a much-needed makeover. We created an icon suite to make the app more enjoyable and to increase engagement.


The redesigned app is modern and clean with a streamlined sign-up process. MOMO’s existing brand colours have been extended to make the app bright, vibrant and appealing to young users.

We really love the new look. It’s exactly what we were looking for. We know young people will find it delightful to use. It’s important for young people to find it easy to sign up for a variety of organisations, that’s part of our business direction and extension into different markets. Working with Big Brand Ideas and Trunk was a good experience and we love the quality of their work. We will be back
