Our task was to unlock the potential of this highly professional recruitment specialist.

Key Recruitment

Graphic design, Web development, Iconography

Established since 1992, Key Recruitment had an excellent reputation as a specialist consultancy with a focus on industry, operating in UK, European and worldwide markets. Alas, they also had a badly-performing website.

It was hard for staff to update, and because it was so old it wasn’t responsive, meaning it was virtually unusable on tablets and smartphones.

Given that their clients are most likely to be found walking around factories consulting the internet on a variety of hand-held devices, their site was having an increasingly malign effect on their business. As soon as we met this client, it was obvious what needed to be done.

Key Recruitment specialise in filling vital roles in tough British industries. We built them a site that worked as hard as their clients.

At Key Recruitment, we knew our website was fit for purpose five years ago but as the company evolved the site became dated. Big Brand Ideas approached us with modern concepts, not just about the design but around the architecture which optimises our organic search.

They have produced a site for us which not only sets us apart from our competition but can adapt in line with our business growth model. The content on our site has now portrayed us as thought leaders in our industry sector and as is driving our preferred, targeted clients to peruse highly informative content.

James Russell, Divisional Manager

Professionals who work in manufacturing aren’t usually found sitting in an office staring at a PC. We designed a site that suits them.

The situation

Packaging, printing, machine tools, control systems are the industrial sectors Key Recruitment is focused on. To stand out from the crowd, they needed a site that functioned better than their competitors’.

What we did

We built Key’s site that included a custom search function that allows candidates to effortlessly locate jobs, one that their own staff can easily update, and most importantly, one that meets all the latest web standards.

The outcome

The Key Recruitment site is now fully responsive, allowing candidates to access it wherever they are and on whatever device they choose.
