We came, we saw, we conquered

What an amazing few weeks it’s been at BBI HQ. Victorious in Manchester and London, picking up some prestigious awards that will go nicely in our trophy cabinet.

There is something very special about the team at BBI. Every award night we’ve been too, we’ve won!

Enough of the gloating. On a serious note, we are honoured to have won the MPA Best Agency Collaboration Award with our good friends Magnafi and One Minute Briefs. We were so proud to support all of our fantastic doctors and nurses in the NHS Christmas Number One campaign, and if it wasn’t enough that Justin Bieber backed the campaign, now we had an award for it! A great night was had by all, and the agency was definitely subdued the next day as the team soldiered on with sore heads.

We hardly had time to recover before we were at it again down in London, this time at the prestigious Drum Dream Awards. Nominated for two awards, Best Public Sector Campaign and Best Illustration, we went down in a bullish mood.

The company we were keeping was right up there. I mean, probably the best of the best. The Cogency won best Public Sector with their amazing installation & live events in commemoration of the Battle of the Somme: ‘we’re here because we’re here’.

We weren’t down and out though and with one last award to cling on to, our 100% record of always winning at an awards night was just about still intact. We sat there nervously until our next award for best Illustration. It didn’t get any easier and we were up against the amazing Publicis London. Their campaign, ‘Doors of Thrones’ for Tourism Ireland was exceptional. We came second best as the Publicis won the award, however, we were absolutely chuffed to bits to be highly commended. We’ll be receiving our framed certificate in the post in the next few days and it will take pride of place at BBI HQ.

It’s another chapter in the agency’s journey to greatness and we are really starting to believe that something special is happening here. We couldn’t do it without everyone involved and it’s a real team effort.

Onwards and upwards team BBI.
