Rob Bolt our Head of Design at BBI has had his eye on an exciting virtual reality experiment by Google Play and the one and only legendary rock band Queen…

If you’re a fan of the rock legends Queen a new virtual reality (VR) experiment by the band in collaboration with Google Play might be worth a look.

Google Play and the one and only Queen invites you to experience the monumental Queen track like never before. The 3D, 360 degree journey features interactive elements and spatial sound, allowing you to step inside the music.

Called The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience, the VR project uses a remixed 3D spatialized version of the quartet’s iconic hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” that reacts sonically to the user’s movements. Immersive studio Enosis VR along with a team of world-class animators and designers created the app which takes viewer on an interactive visual narrative that draws inspiration from the iconography and symbolism of Queen’s music and artwork.

You can download The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience from Google Play for free with support for Google Cardboard, iOS devices will be getting the experience very soon. The app also includes a 360-viewing mode for users to utilize the content even if they do not own a headset.
