On the 22nd October Jon and Dan were invited to present at Digital Leaders North West around the topic of Digital Creativity and Innovation.
The event is held on a monthly basis and supported by Knowledge Hub with the idea being that key decision makers are connected to discuss trends and best practice impacting on their daily jobs.
The session kicked off with Jamie Whyte from Trafford Innovation and Intelligence Lab who talked through the use of all the different data sources he has available and how through the use of data visualisation himself and his team have managed to impact on local issues in innovative ways. Jamie raised some interesting debate and got the Big Brand Ideas team thinking about ways in which we could replicate some of the ideas for our client campaigns.
Jon and Dan took the stage and did an introduction to Big Brand Ideas, to allow the attendees to understand how the agency delivered a range of services for different types of clients. Between them, they reinforced how as an agency Big Brand Ideas uses a mixture of creative content but with an emphasis on integration with building organic visibility for brands. The emphasis of creating content that is for the user and utilising the different data sources available to businesses to ensure that the content they create is targeted towards the audience and resonates with them.
With so many different uses of creativity and innovation, it was great to share our views and listen to the ideas from the other attendees at Digital Leaders North West

There was a fantastic discussion after the presentations which prompted a great debate over what defines innovation and creativity. The next Digital Leaders North West Event is being held on the 17th November and the topic is ‘moving data to the cloud:keeping data safe’
Jon and Dan will also be back at MMU delivering a guest lecture to the students on the Digital Marketing course on the 10th November.
